Hollie Harper is Coming to the Stage at BGM’s Charity Comedy Show
Hollie Harper is a comedian/actress/writer from Cape May, New Jersey. She has a BFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University, formerly the Goodman School of Drama.
She’s a co-host and co-producer of the nationally trending Twitter Storytelling Chat “BlerdDating”.
Her blog “Hollie Harper INK” on Medium quickly gained Top Writer status in Parenting, Black Lives Matter and Racism. A recent blog was selected by Medium curators to be recommended to readers interested in Parenting and Equality across their homepage, app, topic pages, and emails.
Her popular sketch comedy show AMERICAN CANDY, always SOLD OUT, has played the Comic Strip, Gotham Comedy Club, BAM Café as well as the 2018 Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival. Team CANDY is presently wrapping up principal photography of their pilot of the show and their informal residency at The Greene Space, just had them back September 28th.
As a standup comedian she was proud to be featured in the 2019 Black Women in Comedy Festival and is opening for Carolyn Castiglia’s show Tuesday December 3rd.
This charity event is Friday, December 14, 2019, 7:45pm at Home Sweet Harlem, 1525 Amsterdam Ave, New York. A portion of the proceeds will be used to buy care packages for women experiencing homelessness. You can purchase tickets here. Seating is limited.
